Saturday, August 1
Our sacred journey begins! Today we fly toward the land of prophets, miracles, and the Savior’s ministry. Flight details will be shared soon. If you arrive with the group, we’ll travel together from Tel Aviv’s airport to our hotel.
Sunday, August 2
Touch down in Tel Aviv and settle into the luxurious Herod’s Hotel, nestled along the Mediterranean coast. Feel the sea breeze and soak in the beauty of the Promised Land as we prepare for the spiritual adventure ahead.
Monday, August 3
After breakfast, we journey to Caesarea, where Paul boldly testified before Agrippa. Stand where Christianity launched into the world! Then ascend Mt. Carmel, where Elijah called down fire from heaven, and reflect on the divine glory at the Mount of Transfiguration.
Tuesday, August 4
We head north to Tel Dan, Caesarea Philippi, and Chorazim. As we walk ancient paths, we’ll ponder Peter’s inspired declaration and deepen our personal witness of Christ.
Wednesday, August 5
Today we explore Nazareth, visiting a recreated first-century village, the Church of the Annunciation, and an ancient synagogue. Then we follow the Savior’s footsteps through Capernaum, Magdala, and the Mount of Beatitudes. We’ll end the day with a peaceful boat ride on the Sea of Galilee—where miracles once calmed the waves.
Thursday, August 6
We travel south to the Jordan River, where Jesus was baptized. Then onward to Jericho, the city of miracles, and finally Jerusalem. In the afternoon, we’ll visit the Dome of the Rock and the Pool of Bethesda—where healing and holiness meet.
Friday, August 7
Today we explore the City of David and walk through Hezekiah’s tunnel, a marvel of ancient engineering. The southern steps and St. Peter’s Galicantu remind us of the Savior’s final hours and Peter’s heartfelt journey of redemption.
Saturday, August 8
We begin our Sabbath at the BYU Jerusalem Center, overlooking the city of peace. After services, we’ll visit the Garden of Gethsemane, the empty tomb, the Church of the Holy Sepulcher, and the Upper Room—where the Last Supper unfolded. A day of reverence and renewal.
Sunday, August 9
We journey to Bethlehem to visit the Church of the Nativity and sing carols near the Savior’s birthplace. Then we explore Herodian, one of Herod’s final monuments. In the evening, we’ll gather at the Western Wall to welcome the Sabbath in a spirit of unity and awe. Optional activities and free time follow.
Monday, August 10
We escape the city to refresh at En Gedi’s waterfalls and float in the healing waters of the Dead Sea. Then we visit Qumran, where the Dead Sea Scrolls were discovered, and ascend Masada, a fortress of faith and resilience. Evening brings more Jerusalem sights.
Tuesday, August 11
We journey to Aqaba, Jordan—a resort city with red sand beaches and crystal waters. Relax, snorkel, or dive (optional). From our hotel, gaze across borders into Israel, Saudi Arabia, Egypt, and Jordan—a breathtaking panorama of the region’s beauty.
Wednesday, August 12
After a restful morning, we head into the majestic desert of Wadi Rum. A thrilling 2-hour jeep ride (included) takes us through towering sandstone cliffs and sweeping dunes. Optional camel rides and other adventures await!
Thursday, August 13
We explore Petra, the ancient Nabatean city hidden in rose-red cliffs. Choose your own pace—walk, hike, or marvel at the Treasury, tombs, and temples. Our hotel is steps away from the entrance, making exploration easy and unforgettable.
